We just pulled our first-of-the-season EML, barely at breaker stage but I was not about to chance critters and weather. It's not huge but I can't wait until it is ripe!! I have one bigger than that but still bright green so it will be a while. I am keeping every possible crossable digit crossed that nothing happens to it, I plan on getting seeds from it.

I am not saving seeds from any other varieties until these are done to make 100% sure there are no mix-ups of seeds, mislabeling or other errors. These are almost done, there is some growth on top and when I swirled them around, most have settled to the bottom. Once they are out and drying I might consider saving other varieties. Or more ML from Edie's seeds if another one ripens.

This one. Girl Girl's Weird Thing. The striping seems off this year, I hope it didn't get crossed with something, unless it makes it even better. My tomatoes got in late and they're being pokey. I have had lots of small tomatoes, several Tennessee Suited, which are good, but not excellent, 2 Margaret Curtain, which are excellent. The rest finally started getting tomatoes really late, and now they're pretty well covered with them, but much later than usual.

I will try to remember to take a look at mine that haven't ripened yet when I get out to the garden. Not sure if the stripes keep developing as it matures. I can't quite remember or haven't paid attention. When they start to ripen, THEN they get my attention, lol.

I remember it being nearly identical to Tennessee Suited, pictured here.

But when I googled, some had just the little stripes.

Selwin Yellow and Goat Bag. I have a HUGE Goat Bag still green and wedged pretty good between a few branches about a third of the way up the plant.

Yukon Quest and Large Barred Boar. Both new to me varieties, both bought as plants from our Master Gardener sale... They are getting some size but man I hope they hurry up and at least show some color. I gave up on Green Zebra they just started to flower and we have under 2 months of good weather left...
