That is an Allium. It is a decorative onion (smell it) and there are many named cultivars such as Gladiator, Globemaster, Pinball Wizard and such.

These beautiful aliums can be dried quite nicely and make wonderful plant decorations in the home once they have dried out. however, and here is the big but...if the seeds haven't been removed, boy, you'll be forever finding them on the floor as you brush past. If I manage to dry some of my aliums once they are complete i shall post a pic. as they are as lovely dried out as they are blooming in the garden.

Loving the watercress as well, but you had better hurry and get eating...it grows and grows and grows and grows....

I spray paint my alliums after they have dried. This way I have allium flowers all season long although they may be some very interesting colors. Come fall, I can just bring them in and use them in a vase.

Not sure if the mother is still taking care of it. Otherwise, I guess I have to raise it myself, if it hatches.

June update

Basically my favorite brassica to grow now.

img_20210611_1 (17).jpg
This Curtis Cheek and Opalka basically lost almost all their leaves down to the main stem during that cold April, but they're doing well now.
img_20210611_1 (20).jpg
This year with the Earthboxes, I made my own potting mix with peatmoss, pine bark, and perlite. Unlike potting mix, the peatmoss is basically waterproof, so took a bit of a stirring while watering to drench them. The only fertilizer used is Osmocote.

I last grew these Black Beauty in 2016 in Florida, I don't remember them having this many flowers, but this plant seems to much prefer the low humidity up here.

Pretty much the only way possible to grow mustard without holes is in containers. Even Sluggo isn't enough.

Grew some moss rose for the first time, didn't know what to expect, but now I know I will grow it in a wide area.

First time I seen parsley go to flower in my garden, these flower stalks are 7-8ft tall, the wasps really like it. Totally didn't expect it and it shade out the tomato plant trying to grow behind it.
img_20210624_1 (3).JPG
I'm losing growing space here, but the insects are so happy, I rather leave the mustards to flower.
img_20210624_1 (6).JPG
I like this setup, cucumber above and shading the lettuce.

Pepper and lettuce seems to make sense.

Growing fordhook chard for the first time. This is definitely something I'll be growing every year from now.

I have never seen parsley blossoms get so tall.

Moss roses come is such pretty colors, they are easy to grow and reseed too.

They are hamburg rooted parsley, so maybe they get taller than the regular kind.

All plants in my Earthboxes have bottom end rot in the fruits, while ones in grow bags have no problem. Both my Earthboxes and grow bags uses the same ProMix and Osmocote, however the grow bags also have 1/3rd compost added. Both are watered daily.

I am thinking either the Earthbox plants are getting too much water, or ProMix + Osmocote alone isn't providing enough calcium. I'm leaning more toward the watering.

IDK anything about earthboxes, but BER is usually related to calcium or to irregular watering, which seems contrary to how those are supposed to work. I thought they always kept the roots evenly moist?

Re: columbus 2021

Yes BER is due to insufficient calcium uptake. It occurs more often in the first fruits which were set in cold weather. Cool temps make it difficult for the plants to absorb the calcium whether there is adequate amounts present or not. It can also mean that your soil is depleted of calcium or that your ph is off. Usually it is suggested to add dolomite to earthboxes as a calcium supplement. Perhaps the compost added enough calcium to the growbags so that those plants did not get BER.

I also have noticed that the plants in the earthboxes appear more stressed than those in the growbags because the boxed plants have leaf curl while those in the bags do not.

It;s the lack of calcium then, I will mix dolomite lime next time.

The earthbox ones are in maximum sun location and it's been 90*F last few days.

This thing is so big, it's growing extra kohlrabi on top of the existing kohlrabi.
