No, not to me.
SOTW is balanced, tasting both sweetness and tartness at the same time, somewhat canceling each other out. This leads to the most complex of flavors in tomatoes, in my opinion.
AGP is overbalanced way over on the sweet side. For very sweet tomatoes it has the richest flavor, to me. And, the sweetness is unlike any other sweetness that I know of in a tomato. As an example, there is cane sugar, honey, maple syrup, etc...for sweeteners, all different in taste. While I can't perfectly describe AGP's sweetness, it seems to be closest to honey. This is the one and only tomato that makes my knees go weak.
And, my taste buds are unique to me. Most dark tomatoes don't do it, for me. Same with greens, striped, oranges, etc...
Your mileage may vary.
How interesting! I will need to get it and try it sometime.
My taste buds are also different. Hate that smokey flavor a lot of dark tomatoes get and I find.most discolors and yellows and oranges bland. There is an alkaloid flavor that comes tinged in some green tomatoes that i am not a fan of, and some of the whites can be either bland or too tropically fruity. Still like trying everything, though!

For my thoughts on dark tomato flavor, I bumped an old thread at that other site. If you don't know the site, just do an internet search for "U2 aka Elbonian Mud Ball". Enjoy.

I will go look! I do know the other site. I was over there and took a break. That is how I found this place. Could not figure out what my account name was and recovery is not working.
Just went and looked!
I had a stroke of genius and managed to get in! That is quite the description. I am not a huge fan of darks if they have any smokey flavor or bicolors, so something tells me this would not be up my alley!

Once upon a time, on Tomatoville, I read that Tormato had grown zillions of tomatoes, and that Aunt Ginny's Purple was a standout among them.
That was my 2016 thread. Google "tomatoes with flavors all-their-own / unique tasting". AGP was only one of a few recommendations that came out of that thread. There were others. At the time, the score was ~1000 to Tormato and ~4000 to Dr. Carolyn. I'm only at a few hundred. I lack the adventurous spirit that both share.
