All started Feb. 11 multiple seeds and 2 cells each variety
so at this point I can really tell...

All runts:
Indian Stripe RL (every year 3 sources)
Bear Creek (so bad I culled need new seeds)
Pervaya Lyubov (so bad I culled need new seeds?)

Small
Bloody Butcher

Middle:
Spudakee
Eva Purple Ball
Rebel Yell (this and Terhune are usually huge)
Terhune

HUGE:
Indian Zebra
Indian Stripe PL
Box Car Willie
Goose Creek
Big Cheef
Cherokee Carbon
Brandywine, Red (Landis Valley)
Rose De Berne
Rose
Pale Perfect Purple (started slow growth but then really took off)

Replant of Druzba and Dana Dusky Rose with new source seeds made a big difference, they were runty.
Bulgarian Triumph doing ok but has edema. None of the other varieties or peppers have edema. Yes, I have most full spectrum LED lights. But they are way better than the fluorescent sets I had.

Runts will eventually be ok I guess but man I don't have the space especially since the huge ones went nuts after 2nd repot. Runts don't seem to have much roots, but is it the roots or the top or seed quality? Is it the seed, or conditions or what. But most are huge so glad.
I am just glad I ended up double seeding and 3 or 4 seeds per pot this year because there were runts among the huge as well to choose and sadly for them, culled.... So this is the first year I did this and first year have had huge plants to choose from (yes I had LED other years-but potting soil and seed starting soil are different this year other years was Epsoma - this year it's Burpee coco coir based. Nice and fine and had zero gnats and zero damping off).

Anyway, I guess plant lots and pick the best. If you have room...
