For me, BLT falls in the range of most beefsteaks and hearts in my garden, 72 to 78 DTM from transplanting, most years being closer to the 78. Likely 90% of my beefsteaks and hearts will fall into that range, as long as no stunted growth plants, first blossom not setting, or really bad weather comes into play.

These measurements are for strong robust plants grown outside for roughly 28 days, then transplanted, not the typical 6 to 8 week old indoor grown seedlings. If there's really bad weather during seedling growth, and plants aren't ready to transplant at 28 days, I don't bother with keeping track of any DTM info.

I can't help with Granny's Heart, because I don't know if I ever tried the real deal.

I had "Granny's Heart 2014 in cultivation. The taste was very good, but I got only 1 tomato ripe with 2 and half pound

Is 'Snow King' chives garlic chives or onion-flavored chives? I only found it on one vendor website and it has flat leaves so I *think* it is garlic chives? Thanks.

AsianGarden2Table lists it this year as "Chinese chive". Contacting the company (they're likely REAL busy right now) may get you an answer. I don't care what anyone calls certain alliums. If I like it, I like it. My experience with flat leaved alliums is that there are different flavors with different varieties.

Yes, that's where I saw it. I thought whoever sent in the seeds would have first-hand knowledge of it. I love common chives and was going to grow the 'Snow King' to see how it compared. Then I noticed the flat leaves like garlic chives have. I dislike the smell and taste of garlic chives so I was wondering which it was.

Maybe I'll just start few seeds then crush the leaves when they are an inch or so tall to see what they smell like. If I don't plant it in my garden, I can share the extra seeds with someone locally.

About the only thing I'm not too keen on is wild/bear garlic. But, if it were the only thing on hand, I'd still likely use it, sparingly.

Hi all- just checking in! @wodehouse
The Evgenia seeds were from me from the Ukraine tribute. My seeds were from Ukraine-hence the spelling. Here was the description I used:

I will say this variety was yummy but stingy on production. It was one of the tallest plants in my garden! Very large tomatoes, however. Very few seeds as well. The tomato is the pic

Another update-
I sent in Iva's Purple Rust. This is a brand new release tomato bred by Iva Grasa of Slovenia. She is also the creator of Iva's Red Berry (cherry) and Iva's Sweet White ( another cherry). Iva is an excellent overall gardener and is highly obsessed with tomatoes like all of us. This is this tomato's first release to the USA and I loved it. It had great flavor along the lines of Daniel Burson and Big Cheef. Really good for me! A great producer with stocky vines. Here was the description I used:

IVA’S PURPLE RUST
MID IND RL 10-16 oz
Sent to me by my friend, the breeder, Iva Grasa from Slovenia. A new release which is a stable bee cross of Black Russian parentage. Purple with rusty greenish gray shoulders and dark maroon flesh. A gorgeous early/mid meaty beefsteak with just enough juice to make your mouth water. Superb smooth texture with rich tomato flavor with sweet overtones.

You likely have the same label with the "Makes some seriously awesome sauce!" Grown in Oregon by mamadisalvo, it's possible that others may get earlier ripening tomatoes.

Looking for any information on the following tomato varieties. I generally like to record - fruit color, fruit type, fruit size, days to maturity, leaf type, plant growth habit and country of origin. Any of that information would be helpful.

Babynka [could not find any info]
Boggs Yellow [could not find any info - safe to assume it is yellow]
Bula Kowski [could not find any info]
Cosmic Jewel [could not find any info]
Elbonian Mudslinger [I only know it is a dark tomato that originated with Tormato?]
Galaktika [could not find any info]
German Johnson, Benton strain [similar to German Johnson, but not sure how it differs. PL?]
Jesse Saylor [could not find any info]
Karla's Atrisco [I only know it is a small pink slicer, indeterminate]
Primorski Pacug [red slicer from Slovenia]
Shokoladnaya Sosulka [brown regular leaf paste from Ukraine]

I am sure I will have several more to add as I go through the dragon's hoard I was sent by Tormato.

I grew Elbonian Mudslinger last year. Was large, RL, Ind, had some catfacing, not real prolific but was very good. Will be putting in several this year.
Galaktika, RL, det, roma shape, quite prolific, later ripening. Was very dense and made thick sauce. I want to freeze more juice so I won't grow this again. Will try juicier tomatoes.

There is no "true" Elbonian Mudslinger, at this time.

Your seed was likely about F2 or F3, very unstable. There is a thread somewhere, here at the Junction, about Wild Thyme, Elgin Pink, Elbonian Mudslinger, etc...which I'll have to find. The original Elbonian Mudslinger, a working name, is for a PL black beefsteak. People are getting both PL and RL plants from seed, much like with Wild Thyme and Elgin Pink. They are also getting black or pink fruit. I recommend growing out all plants and saving seed, no matter the leaf type or fruit color. There have been some spectacular varieties that originated with Wild Thyme.

German Johnson Benton Strain like the original is an RL plant. They are both productive and have great flavor. It is just a strain that is said to be better.
