Re: How's your weather?
I had pumped the rain barrels empty pre hurricane lee that never hit and never got rain from.
Raining now and barrels are full.
Excess I pump to bare spots on the front lawn.

Re: How's your weather?
Yesterday, around 4 pm it started raining, and stopped my work outside, as it got fairly wet, quickly. By midnight I had gotten .43"; add to that, .83" by 9 am, and it is still coming down steady, which is good, as it was very dry in the area before that last rain, and now this one, and there is more to come for much of the day - a line of rain coming up the east coast. Only supposed to get to 75° - of course, the humidity is very high, with all that rain.

After 1.52" of rain yesterday, it's up to .79" as of 11:55 pm Sunday. Lasting through later Monday, though not a lot expected. Got a little warmer today - 66° - and may get a little warmer tomorrow, but still wet.

Re: How's your weather?
We're having another cool day, doesn't look like the high will get to 10C/ 50F but close to it. A second frost advisory tonight, as the northerly winds go calm and the skies clear. We had another shot of rain last night as well. I'm hoping the cool nights and bit of rain will be enough to get a few mushrooms popping before the season ends. Still pretty dry here and not much more than a few of the early season types on my last scout a couple days ago.
Still a lot of sunshine in the forecast this week, with highs close to 70F.

Three straight days of almost non-stop light rain, with temps in the mid-fifties, and being a bit under the weather myself, is leaving me somewhat gloomy.

It's been in the 70's until yesterday and today when it went back up to 85 again. Mornings, in the upper 50's though so that's nice. Good sleeping weather. This afternoon we had a nice breeze too so it made forking beds in 85 fairly nice.

Planted one last bed of maxibel bush beans this afternoon. Hoping for some rain to water the seeds in.

Rainy for 3 days and temps in the low 60's, very similar to Tormato. Speaking of whom, Tormato, I hope it isn't too serious and you are feeling better soon!

3rd day of rain here, too, but less again - only .12", even though it's been wet all day. Just very slow drizzle much of the day. Only got to 65°.

Re: How's your weather?
Starting to dry out around here , but not as dry as further east. Fire restrictions will be on in some areas of East Gippsland within the fortnight and as one heads north up the NSW coast towards Sydney, areas are under fire watch now and extremely concerned about the possibility of fire on some days. Some of the areas burnt out in 2019 are very dry again.

Only .02" of rain by noon today, but gloomy looking all morning. Only up to 60° by then, and not getting much warmer.

Interesting website. I see San Antonio is D4 (extreme drought). No rain at my house since May.Cornelius_Gotchberg wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2023 8:18 am 09/28/2023 U.S. Drought Monitor/Wisconsin upgrades our area to Moderate Drought- https://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/CurrentM ... or.aspx?WI

No rain yet today, but gloomy looking, and very humid, and the rain is coming again. I'm in the 1-2" expected total area for the next 2 days.
