Just started raining again here. Yesterday, cloudy and overcast but bright. 67 F now, winds are light, rain coming pretty straight down and not too hard. Ground is pretty saturated, especially for this area and time of year. Right now, have the door open for some fresh clean smelling air. Not much lightening or thunder seen or heard, what is is further away by the sound of it.

Weather cooling off here in South East Oz for sure, last couple of nights have been down around 5C/41F with tonight expected to get to 4C/39F or thereabouts. Days have been good though after a cool spell where the heaters we turned on. around 20C/68F today gradually building to 25C/77F on Tuesday before, hopefully some much needed rain, but not a lot in forecast. So far this year we have had only 106mm/4.24 inches when we average somewhere around 250mm/10 inches by this time of year. Our driest first third of the year was 2019 with 100mm/4 inches, wettest was 2020 with just under 450mm/18 inches.

Dairy farmer over the road who has his cows on the block has a bore and we have had to setup a hose from it to our dam to enable us to keep up water for his cattle. Dam was down to about 1/4 capacity. Lowest ever since we had it cleaned out.
