I just made my first poll. And, my first thought is it's quite large (and I would prefer to be able to put it at the bottom of the post, especially as it doesn't make sense until you read the post). I don't know if that's an option, but that's a suggestion of mine. I wasn't sure what some of the options I didn't configure were for, exactly.

Also, I notice there's not a favicon, yet. Those are quite useful for when you're using tabbed browsing (to distinguish between sites in each tab easily).

If it's an option, if you can make it so when you go back after a failed post (like my watermelon post that I referenced) so it'll still have the text you wrote in the input box, that would be awesome. Then I could copy it and post it when the site comes back up. I mean, if something happens in future (I've already re-written that one).

Just so as y'all know in my location Austin's original name was Waterloo.
Bastrop is about 25 miles southeast of it.

I can check on that but you can also tag people if you give a thumbs up/thanks. They get a notification and can see where it's from. You can also check your "My Post" tab in Quick Links.

It's installed, type @ and start typing the name, it should pop up.

Just to let people know this option is available now to tag members of a topic they might be interested in. Super simple, it shows up in your notifications in the header.

Great job Rajun. Not easy to set up a forum.

It looks like there is another copyright issue - unfortunately, with the site name. I don't know how hard (or costly) that would be to change. Mischka announced this morning that T'ville will be kept open on a subscription basis with some other changes. This is great news because the content, I believe, should still be accessible by google (without pics), and will not be lost. On the subject of the name Tomatovillians, this is what he said:
"I have been made aware of another site that has popped up with a name that is clearly copyrighted material taken from here. If this new site is to be kept up, I would genuinely appreciate the name changed to something else, out of respect for my copyright. I have vigorously defended all infringements that dilute the value of Tomatoville® intellectual properties thus far, and will continue to do so, but prefer not to have to go that route. I'd much rather resolve this amicably."

Gotcha, I didn't know if I missed a post from Mischka. My hand has been extended since day one including today.

And I'm all for the input here, this is OUR forum and I'll make changes if it benefits the community. Send recommendations public or private.

I know that it's a work in progress but I don't know why the main header with the site name always looks blurry to me. Are others having this problem?

The previous 2 photos of the red and then the yellow tomatoes also looked blurry on my PC.

I realize it's blurry and will get it fixed in time. I have tried to upload HD pics and they're still blurry.

It's one of those things like "You can't get there from here." The header image is set to a percentage of the other images and I have to dig through the coding to find it then set it to a static size. I tried once for 2 hours and went cross-eyed before I quit. I'll get there after the migration to the new site name.

The other thing that bugs me is the drop down menu on mobile and tablets, the "new Post" tab doesn't show the OP.

Ooh! I like the little Back to Top buttons!

Rob, can you add the "IGNORE" feature on this site? I learned that it's available on TV. It would certainly be beneficial to avoid conflicts and preserve reading pleasure when the user population grows.

It's there and called Friends and Foes. Go to your profile and you can add people if need be. Follow this to get there and I think it's on the OP's post too.

Also:
To set email and other notifications.
Click the notification bell in the header, a window pops up with settings at the top right to bring you to your board settings.
To add your email: Click Profile, Edit Acct settings and enter your email.
To add notifications: Click Board Preferences then Edit Global settings. Please allow Admin to email you, it's important for things like this.

I figured that you might be on top of it but I wasn't sure if everyone was seeing it that way.

I know that it takes a ton of time to fine tune things. Thanks for all of your hard work!
