I was thinking about my age when that song was released.

Sometimes songs take on different meanings as we age. As Ozzy sang, "I don't wanna change the world - I don't want the world to change me." That's way more true now than it was for me back when the song was introduced. OZZY OSBOURNE - "I Don't Want To Change The World" 1992 (Live Video)

Five more minutes of recording, and I think the studio would have melted down.

Song reminds me of my youth.
My first job was helping rebuild MOPAR engines for bootleg whisky runners all poor Irish hill folks got no better way to make a living.
They were good people.
We didn't have a copperhead road we had a Deadmans Trail.
My daddy ran whisky back during prohibition and later.
Never got caught either.

Back in a younger life the girls and I used to drive out into the desert and look at the stars.
The sky was as black as coal and the stars were as bright as our future.
This is what we would listen to many times against the sound of an old pump jack sucking up oil from the earth below.
Oil that was made in an ocean time forgot.
Millions of years ago.

I don't remember how to share music in forums. Hopefully this works. I can't pick a favorite David Bowie song. It seems like we grew up together in-a-way.
I find this funny. It goes with the "Jaws" theme of the swap

I was asked what it was like back when new wave and punk was around.
I said it was fantastic.

Para Ti Nengón by Santiago de Cuba:
While my toddler's command of Spanish prevents me from knowing what they're singing, I LUV Afro-Cuban beats and just can't help grinning from ear-to-ear when I listen to this.
