Six foot rule;I was standing in line at walmart with a 20mph wind blowing in my face.
I would say that negates the six foot rule.
The woman in front of me cut her hair herself,and it showed.
Must have been leaning to one side when she made the cut.
Food stores were packed.
20 minutes standing in line.
Reminded me of the blackout after hurricane sandy.
Stop&shop hid all the carriages.
You could only buy what you could carry.
No baggers,they used to have the leftover walmart greeters bagging.

I guess everyone has to make do. There is a woman's hairstyle that is cut on an angle; very chic. Maybe that's what she was aiming for. Hiding the carts would certainly limit hoarding.

I think her aim was off.
Heavy right hand.
Similar to women that have tattoos on their back and below.
They can't even tell if the guy did a good job or not.
I've seen defects in those, before the six foot rule went into effect.

Then again, I've see fresh haircuts walking out of the salon and it looked like a kid with scissors did the job. I wouldn't have given you two cents for the cut. I guess style is all in the mind of the beholder.

Got my first haircut since the end of January about a week ago. Had to wear a mask, the straps make getting a haircut interesting. But, getting my haircut felt wonderful.

Went to store yesterday to get some canning supplies. I was one of the few with a mask on. It’s pretty much back to pre virus protocol here, not that the virus is completely gone, but most everyone, store and customers, are acting like it is. Store does still have a shield around the check out folks and they still are sporting masks. But, I didn’t see any carts being wiped down. I carry in my own disinfectant wipe. Why not? Virus is still around and the masks and wipes just lower the odds of getting it. I might wear a mask for a year or more, who knows. Not everywhere, just known hot spots like grocery stores.

I've had some horrible haircuts from salons; I prefer the way it looks when I cut it myself.

I will probably be wearing a mask for a year or so, until the vaccine comes out. I probably won't shop or meet with friends/family for the same amount of time.

There was never one for the common cold.

We don't know the situation faced by folks in these times. It's possible that she needed a haircut, but she had an underlying condition that made her hesitant to visit a salon. I'm 71, a diabetic with high blood pressure. I haven't had a haircut since March.

I do hope that your hair looks better than hers. She needed a cut and had to do it herself. I too am cutting my own hair and it will be whatever way it comes out. I don't have eyes on the back of my head so it's a problem for sure. I will not go out without a mask and gloves and then only once every two weeks to get supplies although I did have a fun day and go to the garden centers once. I have underlying health conditions. I will most likely be one of those who dies if I get COVID-19 so I do take precautions. I don't think that is is very nice to tease people about the way that they are trying to cope or the way that they look during this time of crisis.

My truck is due for emissions testing this summer.
I can't see strangers driving my truck or them sitting in strangers' vehicles.
If it fails,the same thing with the repair places.Then retesting again.

Salons are still closed in my area.

They can open in our state, but guidelines limit the number of customers in the facility, and those arriving have to wait in their cars til they are called in. My friend made an appointment with her hair dresser, they were already backed up over two weeks in assigning appointments. I decided to let mine keep growing for a while, at least until it drives me batty. I discovered I have a bit of a natural wave now, never had it when I was young and had long hair. Straight as a limp noodle.

Canada's prime minister has gone without a haircut. My DIL is a hair stylist and is opening this week. She has spent $2500. making required changes to her shop and has had to reduce the number of clients she can see in a day. One of her clients is a nurse and has helped her get PPE as DIL is immuno compromised having just had treatment for cancer. Any client who is impatient to get in is free to go elsewhere but all shops are in the same boat. Everything will take longer for everyone. It's a different kind of slow living, no longer a choice.

If hair stylists and barbers are willing to work some long hours they can probably rake in the money to help with what they lost over the last 3 months.

Remarking about anyone's haircut or lack thereof during this time is kinda petty.

No need for haircuts.
In the hippie days I had hair down to my shoulders.
Women can donate their long hair to those places that make wigs for cancer victims.
I get my hair cut twice a year under normal times.
