I’ve got a real ugly Cherokee Purple tomato out in the garden. I’d take a photo of it on the vine, but it’s been pouring all day. Anyway, this tomato is so ugly, calling it cat faced is an insult to cats. I can only hope a squirrel will come and take it and I won’t have to look at it anymore.

So I wonder if my Cherokee Purple is truly at the top of the class of hideous tomatoes or do you have photographic evidence of an even more grotesque tomato.

Pretty ugly!

I remember a post from Tomatoville where a guy had a tomato that was so ugly, he gave it to his chickens. He said the chickens threw it back and demanded answers.

This year I have one on a Rose De Berne that is looking almost like that, not quite as bad. The funniest looking ones I grew were a variety called Monkey Ass. Lived up to its name.

Picked it. I will call it two face. Pretty enough from one angle, not so much from the other. Ended up 1# 3 oz.

Put it next to the first Amish Paste and Old German from the garden, both attractive from all angles.
