Rain lilies

Zephyranthes bloom in response to lots of rain. They seem to pop up out of nowhere.

Very pretty.
I don't know if they started out as a wildflower, but you can buy bulbs for them. They are common in the Houston area and I have seen them pop up in the grass in peoples' yards.
