Growing two plants of lemon mint. They have gotten about 3 feet tall and require staking/tying. If I cut it back will it become bushier,sturdier and shorter? I hate to cut flowers as every stalk is loaded with flowers and bees. It’s by far the best bee magnet, better even then Thai basil or my nesting onions. I

Maybe cut it back after it's done flowering?

Done flowering and before it starts to seed. It can be invasive.

Which 'lemon mint' is that? Monarda, or Mentha, or Melissa?

There is an agastache called Lemon Fiesta. (Agastache aka Hummingbird Mint).
