Right under my house there is a very compact earth, with a lot of stone and very hard, it looks like a land that is not fertile at all, no bad herbs grow. A wild tomato plant has grown, with very small cherry tomatoes. I think it is something incredible that this plant is alive and has tomatoes, it must be taken into account that it has not rained for months and that nobody waters it.

That little plant sure has a will to survive.

Wow - have you tasted any? If they are relatively good, I'd be saving seeds; that is a tough survivor plant and that can be a good trait to pass along.

Oh that's too bad. We have a "volunteer" plant that came up in the middle of my zinnia bed. It's HUGE and covered in pinky-yellow cherry tomatoes - that taste like rot. Icky. From now on I will pull any vines I did not specifically plant.
