Concrete and more concrete.
It never ends.
Road construction at 71 and 290 in Oak Hill.
Full moon just setting behind concrete overpass support.
It was huge that morning.

Rare photo of restored 55 Chevy during solar eclipse.
Look at the crescents in the shadows coming through the trees caused by the eclipse.
Owner of car in background.
Next photo owners dog in car.

Literally where I live and sleep.
My neighbor couldn't figure out where the strange thumping noise was coming from until he remembered what I had.

I saw this at a Mexican restaurant today that my husband and I frequent. It is an "ofrenda" celebrating Day of the Dead which is tomorrow November the 2nd.

There’s a big new four story Annex building not in the photo to the right or to the east. That new building not in the photo will eventually be office space for the county, but for the next 18 months they have set up several courts there.
The trial I was on the jury was the first trial in the new building. There were a few technical problems with the audio/visual system and microphones, but we got through it.
Brazoria County is about to blow by 400,000 people as residents. Our little courthouse wasn’t cutting it.

Big HEB grocery store right next to job site.
This one in particular has a name.
It's the Nutty Brown HEB built on the location of the old Nutty Brown Cafe.
Lots of signed guitars up front.
I remember when I started working out here asking myself where in the devil did the Nutty Brown Cafe go.

Re: Random Images of Where We Live
My buddy isn't in the pictures but he was auditioning for a rock band and got in it I think and is also playing in a country band.
We spent a couple of hours on the phone afterwards talking about it
I personally spent way too much time dreaming up bass lines today instead of practical stuff.

Giant insect from the Carboniferous age found on construction site being hauled away.
These creatures grew to such enormous size because oxygen levels were at around 35%.

Earlier I posted a picture of all the trees knocked down in Bastrop for a development.
Here are the results of that event.
