Sounds interesting, no heat, but the reviewers note it is a smaller plant and a small pepper. Would look pretty in the purple phase sliced on a steeper angle into salads, maybe brighten up the color of a chicken salad nicely?

I grew it last year and loved it sliced up in salads. In my garden, it was so dark purple it was nearly black. It was also productive, although the plants stayed a manageable 16-20 inches tall. When ripe, the fruits turn from nearly black to fiery red like a hot chili, but with a green bell pepper taste and no heat at all. Both the fruit and foliage are purple, so it's very pretty in the garden.

I'll be growing it for the first time this year. Thank you OhioGardener Debbie for the description, it's very helpful.

I've been growing it this year. It's beautiful, albeit not remarkable flavor-wise.
