My new favorite - Double Click Cosmos

I didn't realize that I spent a pretty penny (relative to other flower seeds) on these (2.99 for 25 seeds), but now that they have bloomed I am SO in love. I just scattered them in a plot and all the colors in the mix grew and they are so gorgeous. I'm kind of partial to the dusty rose, and I just LOVE the delicate multilayered petals. Can't wait for more blooms and then collect seeds from them!

I had some of these last year and hope to have more this year! I need to get out and transplant sprouting cosmos seeds since I am moving their location. The double clicks make nice bouquets when you can get enough.

Right now they are about 1.5 feet tall or so? The packet says 2-3 feet but I have them in a part shade area so it might not be optimal for them.

So beautiful! I've always loved the ferny leaves of cosmos, and all these colors and double blossoms are fabulous!

I ordered some.more of these seeds. They were all decimated by the birds this season. I plan on trying to wintersow some and then transplant.
