Agapanthus in March - I Won!
But it wasn't easy! I think something was hurting, shoulder or whatever, always something these days.
Right, like this puny saw would do the trick. No! It did give me a good start though.

This worked with one foot and one arm.

I gave most of the pieces to daughter who can grow and sell them at a farmers' market she sells at.

A new start for me. I'm thinking it won't bloom this year but am ready to be surprised.

Re: Agapanthus in March - I Won!
I was given some Agapanthus cuttings in the fall. My friend didn't know if they were the kind that go dormant or not, so I kept the plant in a container on the windowsill and it rewarded me with a bloom a couple of months ago. I'll put it outside for the summer and see if it wants to bloom again......

They say that this plant likes to be root bound and yours sure qualified for that. I bought one and it bloomed the first year. It started to fill the pot the second year but did not bloom. We will see what happens this year.
