hanging basket tomatoes -- which ones can use more space?

I have 4 hanging baskets to use, and one of them is at least twice the volume of the others. They will all be nearby, in the same conditions. Should one of these be in the bigger basket, or does it matter? I have enough extra plants to try each of them in a 2 gal. container as well. Or to put doubles in the big basket.

The only one If these that I've grown is Whippersnapper. It will hang a good ways but it doesn't need a #2, IMHO. It produced a lot for me last summer.

Hanging baskets are more novelty than practical. The 2 gallon containers would be easier to care for. Baskets require a daily dunk and soak in water in the hot summer, at least for me. The only variety I ever had that looked good in a basket was tumbling tom, but the fruit were not good to eat.
