Never heard of that tomato before,so when I saw the plants my eyes rolled over white and I bought one.
75 day determinate type.

50% more lycopene is the claim. :) I'd love to know what their brenchmark tomatoes were.

I wonder how (in tomatoes) they assess the levels of lycopene, tetra-cis-lycopene, beta carotene, other carotenoids, anthocyanins, etc. I'd sure love to be able to do that on a whim with something akin to a refractometer. I'd want to test that Purple Calabash cross (it was deep red) I had last year, for sure, and probably Stick, too (since the unripe fruits are so dark green).

I wonder how saved seed wise it will do for next year.
Locally, buying plants from year to year it is hit or miss.
Weather is hot already,so it should be interesting to see how it handles that later on in the season.

I have friends that have gown the Health Kick tomato for years now. I was at their house for dinner one evening and the tomato was served in a salad. It may have more lycopene than other tomatoes but it was evident that lycopene does not do much for flavor.
