How many of you use rabbit manure in the soil for your tomatoes? How has it turned out?

From what I read online, it sounds like great stuff. You don't even have to compost it.

I looked for it while I was in Massachusetts but never found a source. Here in Florida I didn’t try but instead set up a vermicomposting station for all our kitchen waste, and that’s what I use on the orchard/pollinator garden.

We used to raise meat rabbits.
The stuff works great.
We would scoop it up from underneath the cages after it built up for some time.
Same with the chickens.

Ha ha! I just found a little pile of rabbit pellets on the lawn, scooped them up in my hand, and sprinkled them on one of my potted tomatoes. I hear that it doesn't have to be aged, unlike chicken manure which I try to age for at least a year.

Beneath our deep snow pack this year, rabbits went under the deck and under the snow and ate a big chunk of our yucca plants (insert many four letter words here). They came out and pooped all over the snow, by the end of February it was an obscene amount. As the weather started to warm up I shoveled it up and spread it over the garden beds. Granted I still amend my soil with my typical things, but tomatoes, onions, garlic, they are all growing as good as they ever have. I guess one small positive from the destructive pests.

get as much as you can, and add it straight to the garden.
it is good stuff.
