I'm baaaack ...
.. and tomorrow will tell if I can log back on. I've been off for over a year, short of a few times where I could rejoin only to be denied posting at the next login. But I have been READING and enjoying "MEETING" all the new people and the fantastic flower pictures you have been sharing !
It was a very , very hot and dry year here. Heirlooms were melting on the vine, while hybrids stayed green till October, Peppers ripened to a rainbow of colors instead of stubbornly remaining greenies. The heat was so intense and prolonged that sweet potatoes were setting actual seeds. The growing season just ended last week. Saw a few flakes the other day but in general it's in the 50's. No doubt things are a changing.
Anyway, so thankful for the help offered and given along the way to be able to join in the goings on among long time friends.

Re: I'm baaaack ...
Greetings to all again. It looks like I am back with a few hiccups. I think I'm chasing my tail with changing passwords, then google substituting a different password, and ending up getting error messages trying to log on. The mods are trying to help, and I need it!
It's late and I'm a bit tired, but going to start a few threads on topics I haven't seen discussed much so to get the conversation started while I can still post..
Nan, of course
How would a person know when one year stops and a new year is forthcoming without the annual counting of the seeds ...
