Re: Master List tomatoes
@Tormato just a suggestion but when you run out of a variety of seed, rather than removing it from the list how about putting (0) after it's name so that people that have seed know to grow it.

Re: Master List tomatoes
That'll work.
They can also grow what's not on the list. And better yet, what isn't found in any catalog.

@Tormato; "I did find the seeds today."

I tried to purchase seed from Felly's back ~mid March in order to send them to you & @MissS and, despite what I'd considered to be an "Inside Track," was roundly rebuffed.

Re: Master List tomatoes
Put it on the wish list as an "alternate", in case what is on your wish list cannot be fulfilled, by running out or never coming in.

Re: Master List tomatoes
Yeah, but I'm happy with it. I made a few changes to my 25 because there were thing I wanted that were actually available. I'll be growing whatever shows up.
You know how it is. When life gives you lemons, grow the seeds and enjoy the trees. (And no, not a hint that I need Purple Calabash. )

You were the leader last year. You might not be in the top 10 this year.

Re: Master List tomatoes
While reading the last several comments, I was thinking that I'm probably the one with the most revisions due mostly to my OCD kicking in and me "fixing" things. Then as I started to read Tormato's last comment I was thinking, "Hey, I'm not embarrassed! He said we could make 100 revisions as long as we were done before he mailed our seeds back." Then I finished reading. LOL! Subtle, Tormato.
I edited my wish list a while back to take off the varieties that I want but are not on the Master Tomato list this year. I didn't think it was fair to have an alternate list like I had with my revision before that. If you are OK with it, I'll go add an alternate list again (with the seeds I want but you don't currently have) just in case you receive any of them.

There's no Purple Calabash in the swap this year. Apparently, no one is brave enough to trial it. Now, if it were in the swap, I might have to start calling you Limeboy. I've heard the taste of PC described as a sour rotten lime. And no, I'm not calling you sour or rotten. I'm just substituting (editing) lime for lemon.

Re: Master List tomatoes
I posted a question in the main forum regarding a variety I planned to send fresh seeds for:
germination-testing-t4059.html
That variety was Martin's Super Roma (pic) :
Here's my question for this forum: being that a packet of 25 seeds may take a month or more to germinate, and only give a couple of live seedlings, would anyone want them?

Re: Master List tomatoes
I was downloading pictures from seed vendors for seeds I have purchased to have as a record and noticed the vendor I purchased Paprikar from is using the same photos and is now listing it as San Marzano Redorta. I think it is likely that it is SM Redorta and not a new variety.
