Nice, but it wouldn't work for me.
Those are likely 2B graphite. I use a 9H. By the time my pencil is too short to use, the germination rate on the seeds would be about zero. I buy a pencil about every 5 years.

Sketching was a minor. I majored in erasing, at Faber College.
Now there is another, slightly embarrassing, reason those seed pencils wouldn't work for me...

@Tormato I guess that you are the kind of guy that doesn't need any tattoo's either. With the two pencils for nose wear and the one hanging behind your ear there, you are all set! When can you come meet my mama?

That's an even loopier idea than "survival gardens". Not only because of the seed concept, but because few would introduce sticks into their garden on purpose. Unless, of course, the seed contained is a "special herb".
