Growing on the top of my fridge! Got my first harvest today! A bit tart but delicious!!

@MissS It is a Top Hat micro from Baker Creek. And yes this is my very first Micro.

WELL DUH! Sorry it is Orange Hat. Thank you for pointing that out to me!! I guess I just decided to make up names as I went and I am better than that

It is supposed to be a sweet tomato but the one I tasted had wonderful tomato flavor and was a tad tart. I am hoping for more as it was delicious!

Yes, micros tend to be on the more tart side generally. Truthfully though, your own fresh tomato simply beats all!

I would also think that the fruits would taste better if they were grown outside in the good old sunshine. Something about the sun and a mater just makes them oh so good. But it sure is a nice treat to have home grown one in winter so enjoy!
