Creating an account by unlocking email?

I've referred someone, who joined that other place, to join T'junction for a more vibrant community. They didn't receive the necessary email in order to create the account. Any ideas, other than saying to keep trying?

@Tormato Find out what user name they were trying to register under and send either Rajun or myself a PM with that information, so we can check on it.

Any chance this new user's email is an at windstream dot net ?

I still don't get emails from here, since last June, they just stopped dead.

Hello, it is me, the person that had the problem to create an account.
I still haven't received an activation email, even after trying several times.
But it seems that they have unlocked me anyway, so thankfully this problem is solved.

Also a big thank you to "Tormato" who took a lot of time for my problem!

I am using the German Version of Yahoo Mail, so no, I am not using windstream but still had issues.

This happens a few times a month due to the security. Members usually send an email and I activate the account, sometimes I just activate accounts I see before they log in. It's not a perfect system but the security does block more bots & spam than you think.
