We'll see if any sprout.
The rest are for some sort of habanero chicken thing.
The one I got the seeds from I put in a jar of baby sweet pickles.
Also gave the wild pepper plant a watering.
Well they are up with no effort at all.
To the right is the dreaded chayote thing.

I think I might have discovered the mystery behind the blooms falling off my greek pepperoncini peppers.
Sort of an idiot move on my behalf if it is.
This particular tub just happens to be in direct line of my trucks exhaust pipe when I start it up and come home.
I noticed it yesterday as the far side is setting fruit and the near side isn't.
I was looking at one yesterday and looked up and noticed the exhaust pipe was in direct line.
I'll be backing in to park from now on.
It's just a hypothesis at the time but who wants car exhaust peppers anyway.

Peppers sprawling all over the place.
I think y'all know what basil and dill looks like.
Peanuts too.
You can also see the chayote.
Notice the exhaust pipe pointed towards the Greek pepperoncini.

Even my dill is sprouting, at last! Hoping for a good harvest, the dried dill in the stores is miserable when you can find it at all. Good luck with yours!

I plant parsley for the caterpillars. Tiger swallowtail caterpillars are so attractive :)

Yeah the dried dill now is flavorless with a price tag.
I seem to remember it not being as bad years ago when I used it to make a sour cream and dill sauce for schnitzel.
I think I bought the mammoth dill seeds but can't remember.
Regardless I'll save seeds if I get that far.

I want y'all to notice I'm not freaking out over a few bug bites and holes in my leaves.
I won't use pesticides because there are also ladybugs crawling around spiders will move in soon.
I'll be darn if I kill ladybugs and spiders.

Seemingly overnight the chayote made a giant leaf and a tendril.

Y'all think I was exaggerating?
Look at the last picture of the chayote taken last Saturday and look at this one.
It literally sprang up like this overnight.
I also see some bugs on the leaves I'll have to do something about it.

Yesterday I came home and the chayote had one tendril sticking out close to the edge of the container.
Just one.
I have ceiling grid wire I collect from work I use for all manner of stuff.
If I don't take it the stuff will just end up in a landfill.
I pulled a piece and tied it to the container and the other end to a long high wire stretched down the driveway.
All I did was set the single tendril against the wire.
Look at the darn chayote this morning not 12 hours later.
Gonna have to do something with the habanero seedlings too.

Here are the other plants growing like a weed and setting fruit.
I didn't need to worry about the Greek pepperoncini the plants are loading up big time.
Ghost peppers setting as well.
Serrano lost in the jungle.
Basil going great.
Dill exploding..
Peanuts getting choked out but I don't care.
Just letting whatever happens happen.
Survival of the fittest.

I read that the Greek pepperoncini goes from green to orange to red.
This is going to be interesting.

The chayote is well on its way to becoming a real monster of a plant.
Vine is branching out and going all over the place.
Peppers are doing fine despite the actions of the deer on the Greek pepperoncini
Ghost peppers coming on strong.
Dill getting huge even with me eating it out in the yard raw.
Basil is the same doing great.
I'm probably going to pickle a jar of Greek pepperoncini with a green Ghost pepper added for heat.
Will add fresh garlic and a few sprigs of Dill to boot.
That'll happen soon like this morning.
No hot water bath just hot brine over the mix and lid put on.

Everything is doing fine.
Got a white fly problem I've never had like ever before.
Where the hell did these things come from?
Temperature above 100F the last few days.
Plants need water so I have the force myself out of the house to water after a long day in an un air-conditioned school at work.
Good lord I don't want to go back out there.

LOL, me too! He/she ate all my parsley, left only stems, and is seen here on a pepper plant. I hope the little one survives now that all the parsley is gone. I haven't been able to get out to buy more plants, but I will if I can once my oxygen gets here. I don't have dill, fennel or anything else that I think are host plants, so I need to get something more.
