Hello from Massachusetts

Hello friends, signing in from the greater Boston area in MA (Zone 6B) :D
I have caught the tomato bug -- started 200+ seedlings in my basement and am now trying to pawn them off on friends and co-workers. Hauling them outside to harden off has become quite the process!
Hoping to preserve a lot this summer (will be my first time canning) and get inspiration & variety ideas from this site for next year!

Welcome from Connecticut! I am downsizing I only have about 70 this year, lol. Since I can only plant about 20, I will be hoisting them on friends and neighbors, too. 😉

Welcome @juicy from the other coast. I am a transplant from the Boston area, a nice place to live. I purchased a little cart to help me move plants in and out.

Thanks for the warm welcome and suggestions, fronds!

Yes most of the plants are in 3.25" pots.

Welcome! I’m a transplant from Westwood, MA and am familiar with that seedling scenario, lol.
I’ve whittled it down but I still start seeds for friends. That way I can sneak stuff in they probably wouldn’t grow and I find that kind of fun.

That's what I used this year instead of the 2.5" I used last year, I haven't decided yet if it's working out better or not.
