I give store bought seeds x amount of time to pop up;when their siblings are big enough,I transplant to bigger containers and dump the old soil in a tub outside for future use.I went to use some of that soil today and found seedlings that took forever to pop and they did subjected to outdoor temps.
I salvaged one and planted it outside in a container.Should be interesting to see what it is. Most likely candidate is Moskvich.

R.I.P.
Just wasn't meant to be.
I was in a hurry to transplant plants and I mushed it with another tray of plants.
I forgot to water it and when I went out later I realized the oops.
I will never see it grow.I couldn't even find the carcass but had a general idea where it used to be.
I had to move containers with no drainage to a protected area, supposed to rain the next couple of days.
