Favorite small round pinks

Left to right, Pale Perfect Purple, Momotaro and Eva Purple Ball. First time growing PPP. As healthy a plant as they come. Grown in a raised bed and splayed out over some hoops. Easily 100 set fruit on the plant. This plant went out late and I just started picking. Perfect 5 oz. orbs that taste great, every bit as good as Momotaro. Eva Puple Ball is still hard to beat.

This thread reminds me that I should trial Pink Ping Pong. I attempted it several years ago, but had no seed germination.

Favorite small round pinks have been an outcome of several of my breeding experiments.
I stopped growing indeterminates (for the most part) because they're too much trouble to prune, but we have had some awesome small pinks in those lines. I've grown Pale Perfect Purple and they were very nice but on the late side for us, decent production though. Eva Purple Ball was also delish but very late and not many set.
I have a line which crossed EPB and a cold tolerant Turkish accession PI120256, crossed with a Stupice X Black Cherry line. I only had a few seeds from that cross but produced very tasty and vigorous pink and red lines. The red won out for both taste and production but I think there are pinks still there in the line that would be as good.
Also had pinks from the original line Stupice X Black Cherry that were almost multiflora, huge clusters of 20+ fruit, and was selecting for taste until I stopped growing the indets.
I have an awesome small pink determinate this year, unexpected from a bicolor cross - I forgot about pink genetics so it was a nice surprise.
Pinks are indeed often my favorite tasters.

I planted several pink determinates this year.
Early Wonder Pink (tased great last year, still waiting for them to ripen this year)
Sharpei Pink (no greenies yet)
Mac Pink (plants died)
Grandee (plant died)
Rozovyi Saraeva (no greenies yet)
If Tatiana's Tomatobase is still up, it wouldn't be hard to do a search.

I'm growing one great tasting pink determinate this year... from Russia (not surprising, they have bred great varieties in many shapes and forms, from mini to maxi)..
Malinovkyi Yablonka (F1) or something similar. Very fresh and sharp tomatoey flavour, it keeps well indoors even when it looks dead ripe.. that freshness is there.
I found my other pink seeds and will focus on them next year, hopefully... mostly from Eastern Europe.

Another good one in this category is Rose De Berne but I'm partial to Momotaro

Another good one that produces lovely pink perfect orbs is Eva St Wendell. I think EPB is a parent.

It was a few years ago but I'm sure the seed is still viable. Happy to share if you're interested. I think it is around F3 or F4 max, so lots of selection still to do.

Kicking myself vigorously as I type. I got some eva purple ball in a trade quite a few years ago and never tried it. Must have thrown the seeds out, or traded them. At the time I really didnt want another small.

I tried it not too long ago. It wasn't true-to-type, but did seem to be related. The flavor was good.

One I want to try is Dr. Carolyn Pink. I think it's a large cherry.
