Why do some posts not have a like or emoticon button on them? The quote button is there.

My guess is some people know they are posting things others will not like and don't want you to be able to post a negative emoticon. They don't really want any feedback.

@Danny that's a good question. In the control panel you are able to turn on or off the emoticons. If somebody that has the emoticons turned off and starts a thread then the whole thread will not be able to use them. If they are turned off then the emoticon button will not show up on their posts or threads.

You can also disable the smiley faces when you post a new topic
