Baker Creek sent me a packet as my “free gift seed” but I grew it this summer so I’ve got a ton already. Anyone want the whole packet?

How did it taste? Would you recommend it?

I liked it. It was an unusual color and an unusual texture, but tasted good and the plant stayed productive for a long time.

@Lemonboy I have two fruits on the counter right now, if there’s interest I’ll save seeds

@Mark_Thompson Could you try to describe it's texture please?

I grew it during spring of '21 and didn't like it at all. Grown in a hot/humid climate in fabric bag container, fairly productive, looked identical to pictures but tomatoes had mushy texture. My local friend grew it also and thought the same thing.

I would agree that it was not firm. Most of mine had fairly small seed cavities, then I just cut this one up and it looks pretty average.

Like Uluru ochre this one is a GWR. It's an orange GWR. Not sure which of the orange genes is involved in this, the green is quite subdued compared to the yellow gwrs. Haven't grown it, but Ulruru is really good, actually the texture on that is one of it's highlights, being slightly firm but creamy.

I'd like seed. If you're going to participate in the MMMM I can add it to my wishlist, otherwise I can PM you and work out a trade.

@mama_lor You’re telling me that a GWR doesn’t even have to be G?!?! Ugh I will never understand tomatoes
