Haven’t heard of any, but hopefully someone has.
For heat tolerance?

Sutton's Best of All is from New Delhi, India. Note that this is not the same variety as Seattle's Best of All, and both varieties sometimes are referred to simply as Best of All.

Sutton's Best of All and Valencia are similar in fruit size, fruit shape/texture, production, plant size, number of seeds, and days to maturity; however, Valencia is orange, and Sutton's Best of All is red. This is based on my experience growing both in 2016. They're both regular leaf. Mine were both kind of overwatered; so, I didn't test the drought-tolerance.

Here's the vendor description (the vendor no longer carries it, though):
75 days to maturity. Indeterminate. Extremely rare. From New Delhi, India. Fruits set in clusters. Productive. Drought-tolerant. Extremely red. Few seeds. 'Old time tomato flavor'. 'More meaty than juicy, …'

Here's the broken link:

The vendor is now at https://www.timelesstomatoes.store

FYI: My Valencia tomato seeds came from Trade Winds Fruit in 2015. As far as I know, Valencia is not Indian.

I was also looking for some, but didn't find much. Even from a company like seedsofindia.com, that has mostly Indian seeds, only one tomato is Indian - all the rest are just regular tomatoes.

I'm thinking of looking on ebay, and checking some of those seed/spice companies, based in India - look up some seeds for specific Indian ingredients, then check out the seller for tomatoes. Maybe some of those seeds would be more heat resistant.

I only have seeds for 2 - Nepal and Pusa Ruby.

The Nepal seeds are from Heritage Seed Market

They also carry a couple others - Krishna’s Gujarat Village and Lila Sari

I've heard that the few "traditional" tomatoes originating in India, are strong and tart. They are not for fresh eating, but for the relative few recipes (compared to all of their cooking) that use tomatoes. I'll look through my "hot weather" collection to see what I have.

And, the non-traditional fresh market is supposedly like the American market, round red tasteless hybrids. Has anyone, here, recently been to India to confirm this?

There is evidence that all tomatoes come from Peru, brought to Europe onto Asia via the Spaniards at first. So the term turned into Heirloom/ Heritage it seems like.

I guess that I should explain things, my Son is going to India on a business trip and asked if he could bring me back anything.

I'd say yes, as long as it doesn't come from being smuggled out in a body cavity.

In looking through my list the only one that I find is Sutton's Best of All which has already been mentioned. I do have a few friends from India and they just do not name their tomatoes. They are just tomatoes.

I will say that there are so many different regions over there that there must be some that are unique but not named.

I did find one other possibility. Waltingers Fleisch aus Indien which means 'meat from India".

I grew two that were supposedly Indian varieties this year, brought to Fargo, ND and shared with a group there by a student.

Patina was indistinguishable from any of several beefsteaks for me, and while I did save seeds, I'm not all that enthused.

Parika was a heart-shaped, incredibly-productive canner with dry flesh and firm consistency. Merely OK as a fresh tomato, two plants surprised us with the amount of fruit jars filled. As a bonus, it processes more easily and stacks up faster than most posters.

It will be submitted to the MMMM swap soon.
