What kind of grinder is it, Worth?
I don't have anything like a grinder or mill, other than an old blender which is okay for coarse grinds. I tried making millet flour once, and it was full of little grits not fine as I like it. But I didn't try a sieve either. Not sure I have one fine enough for flour.

Just a cheap grinder I picked up at the Mexican market.
With my machining skills I'll improve on it considerably.

I have some Blue Clarage dent I grew last year that I plan to grind shortly. I've never tried a blue corn yet and looking forward to the cornbread and grits!

I went on and ground me a mess of blue cornmeal today. The blue cornbread was very spectacular and paired quite nicely with dinner!

The cornbread looks good and a pretty color. How productive was the corn for you, 2 ears per stalk or more ears? I have some seed for it but haven't grown it as yet. How did your corn bread taste?

Figured if it turned into a dud for us use it as a chicken feed.

Not overly productive for me, 1 medium sized ear and a small nubbin per stalk. The cornbread was great, the grits not so much. The unappealing non creaminess of the grits was probably due the low glycemic index of blue corns in general.

That is true re the grits. May have to just use it for corn bread and corn cakes and maybe chicky feed.
