I got an order from them just a couple of days ago-Jochalos and Vilma because the description made them sound tasty, and Baby because it's supposed to be just so teeny. I put Jochalos in my aerogarden immediately and will be starting the other varieties later on for outdoor growing.

I grew Baby indoors over last winter. It was producing when about 6-7" tall. And that's about as big as it got.

Nice! What size pot is it in?

Baby is in a one gallon nursery pot. I use those for the smaller micros and 2 gallon pots for others. Either way, just be aware that as the plants become mature and the roots fill those pots pretty good, you'll be watering every day, maybe even twice a day. Once in the morning and once before you go to bed. The plants will do ok that way if they just get regular watering, not a flooding now and then.

I have seeded jochalos, vilma, bonsai, rosy finch, fat frog and red robin. Also whippersnapper and dark stripe although I believe they are bigger.

Jochalos and dark stripe are slaking on germinating but the rest are all out and im starting to give them some sunshine.

Dark Stripe Micro is definitely bigger. Mine got to around 3 feet last year. Very productive and good tasting, though. I seeded some recently to grow in containers in the greenhouse and they definitely took longer to germinate than other varieties.

I believe Whippersnapper is a basket variety, so it may want to drape all over. I have seeds for it but I haven't grown it yet.

Vilma and Red Robin are great. I've had good luck with them.

Thanks for that heads up on Dark Stripe's height as I am going to try that this year. It's a good thing to know! It will be a porch tomato and not an indoor under-the-lights one. And I can confirm Whippersnapper's trailing habit. I grew it in '21 after Farmer Shawn was sending out seed from Carolyn's collection. It grew on the porch and eventually draped over the railing.

I used 5 gallon pots and those worked really well. To save space under the lights, I kept bumping them up into slightly larger pots until we finally started using the greenhouse in April. Then I put them in the the 5 gallon pots since we had the space. You could probably do something similar until you can put them outside or somewhere.

One was in a 2 gallon pot & the other one in a big container (120x80cm, 60cm deep) together with other plants, that one produced more fruits, than the one in the small pot.
The two plants looked similar, but produced different fruitsizes, the one with the small fruits had great tasting fruits, the one with the bigger ones (double fruitsize) didn't taste very good.
That's a shame, cause I loved the taste of the good one, but found the fruits to be a bit to small.
As it is a new variaty, I think it is not completly stable yet.

Hmmmm, I wonder if the difference in pot size between the two had anything to do with it? I don't know why it would but it was just a passing thought I'm throwing out there.

Good thought, but the "big" fruited one was in the small pot - the other one had much more space - but who knows.
