Hello everyone!
I see some names I recognize here and I am glad to have found you. I only just started getting back into the garden since the hurricane that hit here in 2017. Big changes have come to the garden including an expansion, and many upgrades as well. My fantastic helping husband has fixed the garden shed for me so now I am starting seedlings in there. I am glad to be here now.

In the spring at the end of the day you should smell like dirt.

Welcome aboard from another Texan a mere 120 miles up the coast.

Re: Hello everyone!
Thanks so much, I did start a garden in my containers last year and had my patio loaded with them while we worked on the garden setup, but that was a major failure between the extreme heat and drought I really didn't get much of anything. It was very disappointing to say the least. I have high hopes for this year and oh yes, we have been very busy.

Re: Hello everyone!
We are in one of the cooler areas of Oz @Rockporter, although the south east does get the occasional hot spell (We are about 1.5 hrs travel east of Melbourne). The last few years with La Nina have been wet and cool, with very few days above 35C/95F. If the way things are starting to shape for next summer, with the possibility of an El Nino summer increasing, things will be different.Rockporter wrote: ↑Wed Mar 01, 2023 1:16 amThanks so much, I'll bet you battle the heat over there.

Nice to see you here Rockporter.
Glad to hear you're rebuilding the garden after that awful disaster. Here's hoping you have a great season with some wonderful tomatoes.
