This is my favorite eggplant, and I have tons of seeds! I germination tested, and 12 of 14 germinated in 7 days, this is very fresh seed.
This plant gets very large, and as you can see, so do the eggplants. It's a bit later than others, so start seeds 2 weeks earlier.
Firm snow white flesh, never ever bitter, and makes the best Moussaka I ever ate! I just want to share this incredible eggplant.

I actually think it was your post of Nikitovka seeds to share that turned me on to this, but I bought a whole packet from her. These are my saved, and there seems to be over 2000!! From one eggplant!

I received Matrosik eggplant seeds from @Ginger2778 this spring (thanks, Marsha!) and rushed to start some seeds in time to grow two plants this year. What a beautiful eggplant! The prettiest one I've ever grown, edging out Listada de Gandia and Rosa Bianca. Plants were large, healthy and trouble-free except for the typical flea beetles, always a scourge of eggplant here. Production was moderate, but that was true of all our eggplants this year, probably because of the early-onset heat and persistent drought. My late planting date for these was a factor also. Texture was excellent and flavor was very good -- rich and flavorful moreso than sweet. I'm looking forward to growing this again next year!
