Not what you put stuff in, but the fact that maybe some varieties shed their perfectly good looking lower leaves for no reason.
Years ago the Lakota variety did that on me and this year saved seeds from Mortgage lifter RL
It gives my forehead frown lines.
Any comments;if you ever had similar woes with leaves falling off.
They snap off right at the stem.
