Tomato Rocket from the dollar store was supposed to be Marion tomato but they may have lied.
Tomatoes are starting to form finally (plant had blossoms in early May) and they look like a roma type tomato.
I have to laugh, box says early variety 55 to 80 days to maturity.
I don't consider 80 days early.
If it's a spitter, I will do a grip and rip on the plants to make room for others more worthy.

It shouldn't be a the shape of a Roma tomato. I grew it three times. It was round (except for an oxheart offtype in one fruit). The first year it was very early, prolific, vigorous, and tasted very excellent. The other times it was not early or prolific and the taste was different (but not a spitter). It was in more ideal ground the first year than the second. I got my seeds from here:

The fruits were about 3" in diameter the first year.

The oxheart trait wasn't passed on when I grew it the third year from that fruit.

I had 3 more tomato rocket boxes so I started them outside to take advantage of the heat and sunlight.
