Interesting to me

last year, Delectations of Tomatoes sent a free gift packet. Dale called it "Unknown Evil Olive Off- type"

Believing it to be an F2, I grew it, noticed it matched description, but tasted good enough to gorge myself on them while puttering in the garden. I fermented a few seeds and tried the now F3 to see what I might see.

One is a rather diminutive little gal, but we have been very dry and it hasn't had as much water as perhaps it would like. But it also has a white stripe up the stem, and the suckers and leaf petioles from that stripe are similarly chlorophyll free.
A few leaves in other parts exhibit 'splatter" of white

I can't wait to see what any fruit look like

So you are saying that the entire branch hasn't any green on it? I would save seed from the fruits on this portion of the plant as well as the other and see if there is any difference in the offspring.

So I saved seeds from the albino fruits on the albino branches.
The albino mutation is very likely permanent...and likely not desirable. They are not particularly vigorous.

They don't seem to have any green to them at all. I wonder if this will change when they get their true leaves. Right now they don't appear to have enough chlorophyll to support them.

Wow, that's a very dramatic effect.
It makes perfect sense, though, if there's no chlorophyll at all. I hope they get some green in the true leaves.

Whoa, a true albino tomato plant?????? That's cool!! I hope they survive, but true they're weak due to lack of chlorophyll. I've grown Splash of Cream before and they're not big fluffy plants, although beautiful.

I don't think any are going to make it; they seem to be burning up the seed energy stores, then failing.

sorry to hear this, but it's not unexpected. Are they in a seed starting mix? Maybe those albinos need more nutrients. If they're gonna die anyway, I'd try a mild liquid fertilizer.
