Welcome to the Junction! Depending on the size of your indoor growing space, I'd consider growing micro dwarfs.

Welcome! Surprised to see an indoor grow in the heat of summer, but then again, when it gets too hot... !! Why not. :)

I have a couple tents.. the one currently with tomatoes is 2’x4’x5’ which it appears to be outgrowing. Probably move into 4x4 this weekend

😂 yeah with a heat index of 110f I’d say so! But im also pretty new and dont want to deal with the pests around here. Got basil, mint and a few other things growing outside in pots..i have to keep even the ones who like direct sun out of the direct sun, and I've not yet found the lil buggers that are eating them. Guess to could just look for the ones with minty breath!

LOL sounds like a plan. When it comes to garden pests, well it's a jungle out there, even if there is some ahem, fine dining and fresh breath out there. I currently have a bunch of bok choy and lettuce seedlings that I have to put out, whenever we get a tiny break from scorching. But growing greens in the summer is full of disappointments. I love the winter greens I grow indoors. You get these lovely tender leaves and no bug bites, no wind scorch, no bitter! Too bad my house isn't climate controlled, or I'd be very tempted to keep some lettuce in the basement... !!
