not descriptive enough
Saved seed from 2021 just labeled BB
Could be big brandy or bloody butcher.
Judging from the size of the seeds I would say big brandy.
I will have to remember to provide more data next time I save seeds and not ASSume I am going to grow them next year.

Could it be Bumblebee and you thought you'd remember the colour?

Re: not descriptive enough
senior moment with clones also.
I tried to salvage plants by cloning and the outdoor inventory I forgot to label some how.
If they live, I will have to take a wait and see attitude .
Indoor clones I know what they are.

Re: not descriptive enough
I think I said that in a thread a few years back, BB must be the most used initial for tomatoes. There are a whole bunch of possibilities.

Re: not descriptive enough
I bought big brandy from agway in 2021.
my brandywine hybrid experiment year
So I am leaning towards that choice.
bloody butcher was labelled properly because the saved seeds were from a tomato smaller than normal.

Re: not descriptive enough
The big brandy is RL,so if some of the seeds pop up up PL I will know they are big brandy.
I will keep them segregated from the labelled bloody butcher during the germination process.
Saved seeds from the brandywine hybrids I weed out the PL when they are 1st detectable as such.

Re: not descriptive enough
We all do that, found seeds in the box marked orange chilli, now they could be jalapeno or they could be re-bagged seeds from a friend's father, I now print the labels and add a pic of the fruit saved the seeds from

Re: not descriptive enough
I did it again with a tomato this time.
I got a tomato from a neighbor the same time I picked one of mine.
I just wrote my initials on mine instead of what it was.
Fun getting senile.
