I was talking to a snow bird that takes off the end of october for florida and he plants in raised beds.
Before taking off he just rips up the plants and prepares the beds for next year.
I told him I would take pepper plants instead of him just tossing out.
I will over winter indoors. The only concern is bringing bugs into the house.
The transition will be in a unheated porch and a clamp on LED grow light.
Talk about recycling.
Jalapeno and sweet wax peppers that are doing well now at his place.

1 has potted plants and he axed me if I wanted the soil instead of him tossing it in the dump.
That will go on a mound outside until next year.
