Cactus flowering

The daughter has a small barrel (?) Cactus, variety unknown that has flowered for the first time today.

Being a life long fan of cacti and being very young at the time.
I was highly disappointed with the movie Cactus Flower thinking at my young age it was a movie about cacti not a movie about people cheating on their spouses.

Looks like an Echinopsis variety. Common name is Easter Lily cactus.

Beautiful! Im trying to venture into cacti although my climate is borderline for most of them.

Flower is done, lasted 2 days, which was twice as long as I expected

I also concur with Echinopsis of some kind. Lovely!
