Cactus flowering

The daughter has a small barrel (?) Cactus, variety unknown that has flowered for the first time today.

Being a life long fan of cacti and being very young at the time.
I was highly disappointed with the movie Cactus Flower thinking at my young age it was a movie about cacti not a movie about people cheating on their spouses. :lol:

Looks like an Echinopsis variety. Common name is Easter Lily cactus.
USDA Zone 9b, Sunset Zone 13
Average Rainfall 9.5 inches
Climate: Sonoran Desert

Beautiful! Im trying to venture into cacti although my climate is borderline for most of them.

Flower is done, lasted 2 days, which was twice as long as I expected
