Our family farm is celebrating 50 years in 2024. Our farm is on the Missouri Arkansas line. We raise hogs, cattle, chickens and goats. We grow all our own vegetables and can extensively. I guess my claim to fame, locally that is is I have continued to grow my Grandpas tomatoes for the past 26 years. It is a beefsteak variety, pinkish/red and produces very well in the heat and produces large fruits. I recall the seeds were brought from West Virginia to Caney, Ks where my grandpas grandparents settled in the late 1800's. I am hoping to save alot more seeds this year and hope to share next fall.

i got down near your way a coupla time. family friends retired down near the boot heel.
shell knob was the mailing address, but they were about ten miles from town. they were a short stroll from table rock lake.
