@JosephineRose Thank you. Yes I was referring to your Broadway Brandywine. I had never heard of it before. Have fun with your grow outs and I hope that you get what you were looking for.

My German Queen has already produced its second truss. I went ahead and pinched off the small buds to see if it will encourage the bigger blossoms into making bigger fruit. I've also been keeping the suckers at bay. But knowing my luck after all thay hard work, all the blossoms will drop because of poor weather conditions or whatever.

Don't pinch off your blossoms until you have some fruit set. Once you have some fruit set then you can start being selective about which ones to keep.

To me, SOTW is the benchmark for judging all other beefsteaks, having a very rich balanced flavor.
Thanks a lot.....I just started my 2025 list!!

I have most of my starts going in my Aerogarden Farms right now. I can't plant until around Mother's Day, so I am hoping I have timed this well, and that the last pot up before planting will be one gallon grow bags. I have to have everything running smoothly by June, as I have to go to California for the birth of my first grandchild...and my second! We get twins, a girl and a boy!!

If no note, the variety is new to me this year.

Cindy's West Virginia-very late Beefsteak (My name is Cindy :) )
Clint Eastwood Rowdy Red-Old seeds.
Mary Ann- Old seeds, germinated fine.
Alice's Dream
Caspian Pink- Tried to grow last years, had incorrect seeds.
Karma Miracle
Black Cherry
Sweet Apertif
Amber Keyes- Didn't germinate.
Berkeley Tie Dye
Aunt Ruby's German Green-Didn't germinate.
Prairie Fire
Paul Robeson
Blazing Beauty
Sweet Scarlet Dwarf
Neves Azorean Red
Mat-Su Express
Orange Banana
Druzba
Ernie's Plump
Cherokee Green
d'Amico
Giant Garden Paste
Mikado (3)-My favorite from last year.
Inciardi Paste(3)- Another favorite from last year.
Lovely Lush Early
Green Giant
SunGold (2)- I always grow SG.
Green Grape- I always grow GG.
Sun Sugar
Brown Sugar
Cherokee Purple
Gunmetal Grey
Cuban Salami

Added-

Jarson 4 (3) For a growout

Chupa Chups Red
Bug Tussle
Dingwall Scotty- Old seeds, germinated fine.
Benewah- VERY old seeds, still trying to germinate.
Marilyn's Best
Black Krim
Cosmonaut Volkov
Elf Tears
Marchenelf
Reinhard's Purple Sugar
Bread and Salt
Heidi
Maddeline’s Vine Candy (OP Sun Sugar)
Antho Pink Panther
Little Sicily- Didn't germinate.
Aurora
Bloody Butcher
Uluru Ochre
Aurora
Adelaide Festival

Removed-

Brutus
Moskvich
San Marzano Redorta
Mountain Magic

I am fighting with myself over seeding the ones which didn't germinate again.
I think I will germinate Mountain Magic. I thought I had it, but I couldn't find it, but now I have a trade coming in.

@Stitchingmom Congratulations!!! :D ❤ Let us know how everything goes!!

I didn't know Clint Eastwood had a tomato named after him? Hoo-boy did I have one of the worst crushes on Rowdy. However that's changed and my view of him has gotten quite the opposite and I feel that guy shouldn't have such a high honor of getting a tomato named after him!

You have Brown Sugar? Let me know how those are please. I keep getting junky email from Baker promoting that variety after I considered buying them last time I made an order. Also if you're wanting Caspian Pink or Aunt Ruby's German Green, I have a few seed in freezer storage.

I sent Dale at Delectations an email, I hope he responds! 🤞Unfortunately Thunder Creek and a couple of others were out of stock, maybe better luck on those next year.
