Greetings from WNC (Land where the water falls)
My name is Elijah. I have been a growing veggies the majority of my life except while I was in college and military service). I'm in my early 50's but plan on gardening and seed saving for a few more years. I love gardening as its great therapy and you also get a little bit of exercise in as well.
I love growing heirloom tomatoes, dwarf tomatoes, newer hybrids and also other veggies (peppers, squash, beans, egg plant, corn, potatoes, etc). I am also a seed collector as I like to have a good collection in my seed bank. I am fortunate to have a few folks in the garden community that keep suppling me with various seeds. I like to try something new in the garden every year so I can have information to share with folks especially in our area where times its difficult to grow certain things. I am still working on my 2024 grow list but looking to finalize that very soon.
I love to collect the older garden books, seed catalogs, the history and stories of the various tomatoes.
Looking forward to sharing and learning
Elijah
