Oh yeah, plenty of times. The guy started that franchise in here, the original store is still there.

Regretfully they don't have one in Bastrop.
If you look on the map it is like a Krispy Krunchy desert.

Rajun, I watch the video right before dinner and ggeeeezers, I wanted some good Popeye's like chicken soooo bad! I could hear the crunch! Will have to try that recipe, the only Popeye's is across town from me and though the chicken is good, they are not the , mmm, shall we say , cleanest crew?!!
Sad thing is I am not having chicken tonight, but I do have some thighs in the freezer!

We tried a local Popeyes and also thought that the place was dirty. Never went back and felt lucky not to have gotten sick.

Dirty stores are a GM problem not the franchise. We still have one of the only Popeyes left here that has a lunch buffet and it's clean considering how busy that store is.
I went research that to make sure it's still there and found this video, I'm gonna have to meet this guy and do a colab video.

That certainly looks good and sounds nice and crunchy. I will have to try this out. I hate to admit it but I have never had Popeyes chicken. Nope not ever. I looked and the closest one is 24 miles away so I guess that I won't ever be trying it.
A colab with Midnight Cravings would be good. With your two voices and accents it would rock!

I really enjoy your cooking videos and your YT channel. That chicken looks better than anything Popeyes would put out and no doubt tastes a whole lot better too.

A common gas station/ convenience store near me is Huck's, using Huck Finn as a mascot (copyright exired on Mark Twain's character.) I noticed they now have fried chicken. The brand is Cluck's. I got a smile out of that.

Did you find good? I've had it and wasn't impressed and still trying to figure out why people were going crazy for it.
