1 seed from the 1628lb pumpkin grown in '23 by Jolivette. One is all that I have so first call takes it for SASE.

@JRinPA good question. When I used to grow them, I was on a well. They did take a lot of water, but we had so much fun with them. The whole neighborhood enjoyed it.

I would not mind trying one again at the comm garden but it would end up being just me worrying about it. I tried Big Max seeds a couple years back but no one else really helped and the SVB are terrible to patrol for. I think I started with eight plants and weeded down to two that had good size starts, then they just stalled in August. The big one was somewhere around 50 lb I guess, and the other one rotted.

@JRinPA Please send me a SASE.
These take up plenty of space, water and food but are so much fun to grow. The good thing about them is that you are not going to be eating them so pesticides are helpful.
See you at the weigh offs!

Organic garden though...and water is expensive here.
I sent you a SASE for the big tomatoes. But let me check with the comm garden group and see if they want to try it. I don't want to take a seed someone else might want. The SVB are just atrocious when it comes to a small pumpkin patch and I really don't have the drive to look after it by myself.

I sent an email to my comm garden group to see if they are interested.
